1970 Ford Torino GT - Original

For sale/auction is a very nice 1970 Ford Torino GT that is almost completely original. I have owned the car for 22 years. The car is estimated to have around 75,000 miles on as the gears haven't matched the speedometer for most of the car's life. The car was never driven, miles, ntil 1984. At that time it was driven in Florida and then in the late 80's used for just a street muscle car and some amateur 1/8 mile drag racing. In the early 90's it came up to Minnesota to a collector who had it for a few years when I ran across it and have had it ever since.

As mentioned the car is nearly 100% original which is quite rare for muscle cars. It has original paint, nterior, ndfactory engine including pistons(with a couple mods). The only things that have been changedfrom original throughout the years is the transmission was changed to abuilt up C6 to handle the power and the rear end changed to a4 pin posi 3.70 ratio. The overall conditionof the car is great, ou don't seecars45years old that haven't been touched, ust like it came off the Ford assembly line. The car has a few small door dings as it was driven as a normal car in the early 80's but otherwise quite mint.

Duringthe car's 1/8 mile drag days the engine was toyed with. Theengine or heads must have been decked to increase the compression ratio even higher than the 11:1 factory numbers, he engine has a different cam in it and carb and intake. (I do have the original cam, arb, nd intakewhich have been in boxes for 30 some years now). I have the build sheet on the car from under the back seat. The car has a few nice options. It has the hide-a-wayfront headlights, eavy duty front suspension, nd had a factory tinted window. The interior is very nice, t has the best high back bucket seats Fordhad withtheconsole and floor shifter. Interior is all black. Outside color is DarkMetallic Ivy Green whichhas been mistaken for black at night. Very nice car, ust don't have the time to drive it anymore so looking for a goodhome. Thanks for looking and reading.
