Description of 1989 Ford Mustang LX |
The car for sale is an 1989 Mustang LX 5.0 Notchback. This is an original 5.0 car not a swap. It is also an original Manual window, anual lock car notchback so basically the lightest Mustang made. The car was originally from West Virginia and is in excellent shape. No rust or body damage. Body is straight and was painted last year. I have a ton of modifications done correctly. Great car that is reliable, ounds great and turns heads everywhere it goes. Gets tons of attention as you don't see many of these around in this condition. Mods: Body Cervini's 1.5" Cowl Hood Mach 1 Chin Spoiler painted to match car All moldings painted body color Engine Newer 302 shortblock from low milage donor car (about 40K miles) SR Performance Aluminum Heads 2.02/1.60 valves Comp Cams Stage 2 Cam Exlporer GT40 Intake 24lb injectors Slot style mass air meter in custom 3" intake tube 70mm BBK throttle body Underdrive Pulleys Deleted all accessories except for Alternator 325lph fuel pump and all braided fuel lines #8 feed #6 return Exhaust BBK Longtubes BBK X-pipe 2 1/2" Mac Pro Dump Cat-Back Driveline Tremec TKO transmission Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter McCleod ClutchAluminum Driveshaft 5 Lug Conversion Alloy USA Axles 3.73 gears Wheels and Tires MMD 551C Wheels with Nitto Tires in rear and Sumitomo tires in front 18x8 w 245/40/18 in front 18x9 w 275/35/18 in rear Tires have less than 300 miles on them Interior Converted to all black interior SN95 Seats from 03 GT Oil/ Temp/ Boost/ and Wideband 02 Gauges This car is built right and a great cruiser as is or ready to add your blower or turbo since the rear, rans, nd fuel system have already been beefed up. The car was converted to manual steering as well with a Flaming River rack. So you won't find a nicer lighter weight coupe as a start to a race car project or drive it as is and enjoy. |
