Description of 1966 Ford Other Pickups HD

I am the 3rd owner of this truck, nd it is in great shape. The first 40 years or so of its life were spent on an orange farm in Florida and it has never seen the snow or salt since it has been up here in New England. I have the original owners manual and some of the original purchase paperwork. The exhaust and brakes are brand new, arb was rebuilt last year and the water pump was replaced and radiator re-cored. It always passes inspection with no issues.

This truck has the heavy duty package, hich includes a larger radiator, arger fan, 40-6 engine, " rear end and heavier leaf springs. It also has the corner windows and side trim, oth of which were options. Other than a spring special (which only has different side trim and may have a lesser engine/rear end), his truck has the most options you could get from the factory on these models.

It runs and drives great, nd the body is very straight. There is absolutely no rust in the fenders or in the steps at the bottom of the doors. It had a full restoration in the mid-1990s, nd the paint is still pretty good but most seams have cracked paint and there is a small amount of rust on the tailgate seam and the tailgate pivot points (see pics). Upholstery and interior is also in good shape. Doghouse is un-modified, elly pan is not missing. It starts up on the first rotation, uns and drives great. I wouldn't hesitate to take this truck on any day trip as long as you don't have to go over 65mph.

New as of 8/31:

Exhaust Manifold, ntake and exhaust gaskets, ew exhaust with MagnaFlow muffler. The brakes have been completely redone including pads and wheel cylinders. The rear axle seals were also replaced during this work. This was $1900 in work in the last week, nd the truck is a perfect and reliable driver.

New in the last 2 years:

Radiator re-cored, ew thermostat, ap, luminum water pump, ater neck, adiator hoses and v-belt. Rebuilt and adjusted the carburetor.

This truck is for sale locally and on other car listing sites and I reserve the right to end the listing early if it sells through another service. Make me an offer, fter this listing, he truck will be up for auction.
