This 1965 Ford Mustang rolled off the Dearborn, I, ssembly line in April of 1965. Original paint color was ivy green, nd the car has the original 8-cylinder 289 engine and includes aworking factory "after market" air conditioning. Previous owner added Holley carburetor headers and dual Flowmaster exhausts (taken from a 1966 Mustang GT, s the 1965 coupe had single exhaust - makes for a better Mustang sound!). Bright orange paint with black vinyl top and black racing stripes along bottomrocker panel, ombined with rear air shocks, ive this classic a sporty look and feel, nd it's a blast to drive - great motoring therapy! Some of the work performed since our purchase in 2008:9/2014 - new radiator12/2013 - front brake pads, otors and hoses; clean and repack front wheel bearings11/2013 - replace right rear axle seal and pinion seal3/2013 - install electronic ignition, ncluding MSD distributor and MSD coil6/2011 - replace starter solenoid, istributor cap and rotor9/2010 - replace fuel pump, nstall strut rod bushings9/2010 - new timing chain and cover, gnition switch, ain wiring harness, onvert to Sanden compressor, nstall new drier/accumulator, eplace front springs and shocks, uter tie rod ends, eplace lower ball joint (passenger side), ew parking brake and cable10/2009 - replace water pump, hermostat and gasket, nd bypass hose6/2009 - replace master cylinder with dual reservoir unit, ustom brake lines fabricated and installed with valves to create split system4/2009 - replace points, ondenser, ap, otor and coil10/2008 - rebuild transmission, emove and replace headers
