Description of 1936 Ford Other 5 Window Coupe

1936 Ford 5 Window Coupe
This is a nice solid '36 Ford 5 Window Coupe. This is a verydesirable and sought after car in both the 3 window and 5 window configurations so I don't need to say much as I'm sure you already know the potential of these cars. This one features a Ford 3 speed manual transmission mated to a 283 Chevy small block under the hood. Juice brakes and the original banjo rear end. Roll down rear window, ll the glass is in good shape. Has the original roof insert and most of the original headliner in tact.
The car was resprayed green some years ago by a previous owner but body appears to be in good solid shape with no major issues I could see during my inspection. Using the magnet test the only place that we could any amount of body filler is a small section of the rear tail pan but everything else back there looks solid so can't be much. The 283 does smoke and could use a set of rings or a once over but does run well and get this car down the road just fine. Everything functions as it should, ights, rakes, ngine so you could enjoy it as is or build your dream car either way you can't go wrong with this fine example.
Please see all 46 photos in the slideshow below as well as the video to get an idea of theoverall condition.

Side Note: If you wanted to convert it back to a Ford Flathead engine all you would need to do is pull the 283 motor, dd some flathead motor mounts and the early style flathead should go back in just like factory. Still has the original Ford 3 speed and the original radiator to make it pretty straight forward. This is not included in the auction but just for informational purposes.
