Drag raced in the early 1960's at Niagara FallsNew York, hompson Ohio, EriePennsylvania and LancasterNew York as a B/Gasser. Restored by noted automotive enthusiast, ollector and historian Roddy Moore and displayed at the Detroit Autorama. Engine, rive-line and chassis modifications: 331 C.I.D. 1952 Cadillac V-8. Balanced with Weber flywheel. Iskenderian camshaft and kit, djustable rocker arms. Weiand polished aluminum intake with dual WCFB carburetors. Full dual exhaust with chrome pencil tips. Finned valley cover. Converted to 12 volts with chrome Powermaster alternator, allory dual point conversion and a new harness throughout. Eldorado chrome valve covers. Hurst shifted 1957 Ford 3-speed transmission, "rear axle and Ford radius rod traction bars. Front suspension was lowered with dropped spindles and has disc brakes with a dual chamber master cylinder. GM / Saginaw power steering. Smooth-sided Diamond Back Classics custom wide whitewall radial tires on chrome reversed wheels with baby moons. Body modifications by the famed Alexander Brothers (1961): Radiused rear wheel openings and customized side moldings, idden fuel filler, unken license plate, renched dual antennae, osed and decked, hrome hood hinges. Beautifully finished in dark Sapphire Blue by award winning painter Jeff Bennett of Wide Open Customs in RoanokeVirginia. Alabaster scallops outlined in Argent by famed pin striper and automotive artist Tom VanNortwick of Henry Virginia. Interior modifications: Full custom interior by M & S Upholstery in traditional red and white roll and pleat Naugahyde. White headliner with red piping. Chrome garnish moldings, teering column, peaker grill and heater box. Dash modified for Stewart Warner gauges, olumn mounted Sun tachometer. Optional Equipment: Directional Signals, M radio (hidden JVC AM/FM/Cassette, eater and defroster. Mileage is indicated since restoration.
