***66 THUNDERBIRD 2-DOOR TOWN LANDAU REBUILT MECHANICS EXCELLENT DRIVER*** ***REBUILT 390 - 315HP V-8 ENGINE --- DUAL RANGE AUTOMATIC --- RIDES BEAUTIFULLY*** . ***GREAT DRIVING CAR --- DRIVE IT HOME*** This is a 1966 Thunderbird 2-Door Town Landau blind quarter-roof with vinyl top that a friend asked me to list. The car is located in Green Bay, A 23942. The owner's home is up for sale and he already owns a home in another state and needs to sell this car to move. He bought the car about three years ago and has done a lot of work to it. The engine was completely rebuilt. The transmission was removed, leaned and re-sealed. The rear end was rebuilt and there are new u-joints. The gears are now 2.79 to 1. The entire front end was rebuilt and aligned. The car has five new tires including the spare in the trunk. The carpet was replaced; seat covers and foam were replaced. The trunk pan and front floor pans were replaced and welded properly - owner used to work in a restoration shop. The car was repainted when the owner got it and he wet sanded and buffed it. The previous owner disconnected some things and they need attention: switches to work the courtesy lights, acuum lines to work the air conditioning and rear vent. The radio is not connected and the owner does not know if it works. The body has some small bubbles in the lower parts mostly on the passenger side - see photos below. The vinyl roof, hrome and trim are original and have aged. Car fires right up, uns, rives and rides great - it can be driven anywhere. The mechanics are in top shape; owner is moving and doesn't have time to continue to improve the car. Email any question and you may ask for the owner's number to talk to him about the car or set up a time to see and drive it - owner does not have internet access. Car is Wimbledon White with dark blue interior Note the blind quarters for the landau roof All five tires are brand new P205X70X15 Thunderbird has nice lines Thunderbird in the grill - note turn signal indicators on front fenders It has dual exhaust under the rear valance The owner replaced the carpet and had new seat covers and foam installed for the seats Dark blue interior Seats are comfy - note console for storage Front seats have stainless trim, ear seat is wrap around Owner says all gauges work except the amp meter - note swing away steering column Dash pad is not cracked Previous owner removed some of the vacuum lines and they need to be replaced for the AC and rear vent to work.
