Here we have a solid 1971 Mustang Convertible, are to find one not rusted out. Some surface rustunderneath, asilyremovable, nbsp;see photos, nly rust holes I see are on the battery tray (commonoccurrence) which you can replace easily. The car runs and drives, otor and trans seem pretty good. This car has been sitting, have had it over a year and have not done anything to it but drive it a few times to keep it going.Same was true for the previous owner.The brakes are down to the floor, ut will stop the car to load on a trailer. The power steering leaks pretty bad. The AC does not have a belt, ut looks complete, assume something is broken buthave not looked into it.The gas tank has beenreplaced by a previous owner. I am moving shortly andwon't have the room tostore the car. This should be a great project for someone with more time than me. Or put it a way for later. Ihave put on lots of photos but you can ask anything you like and I will get back to you. The top is gone but the frame is still there, t is a power top and the hydraulics still work but were slow when I put itback up, lthough the battery was about dead too. I will charge the battery before it leaves. I have not checked the top fluid.The interior needs cleaning and the door panels are not in the best shape but you can clean it up to be passable, he seats are not bad and the carpet is there and in ok shape too. I was going to put a newinterior in so I reallyhaven't paida lot of attention to it. All window glass is there, he drivers door glass at the very top is slightly chipped, ame thing was on the last mustangconvertible I had, ot sure if it is common but ironic that I have had 2 of the same yearand both had that. 5 Day auction, oes off Sunday, nbsp;Good luck bidding!!
