Description of 1929 Ford Model A

Up for sale is a prized 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Hot Rod. This car was built over a 4yr period. Greatcare & attention to detail was payed to build a car that looked like it was built by a returning service member coming home from WWII. This car has a salt flats feel and is blast to drive. It started life as a coupe but someone removed the top years before I bought it so I turned it into a Roadster the correct way, paying attention to all of the details and sparing no expense doing it.The engine is a strong Chevy355 with 10;1 compression, the pistons are 11.8 domed Speed Pro units, with a forged crank & eagle rods, the trans is a 5 speed from a newer Camaro, the radiator isthe best you can buy Walker . The rear end is a Ford 8" from a 1967 Fairlane. The wheels have all been powder coated and have great Coker rubber on them. The rears are 1932 18" and the fronts are 1935 Ford 16" .The front brakes are 1940 Ford with drilled backing plates, the car stops as it should,The front I beam has been drilled too.All of the bright work on the ca, such as the I-beam,split wish bones, backing plates, windshield frame etc,has been nickel plated. The carpet is newer & in great shape. There are older bucket seats that have been re covered & a bench seat that goes with car if wanted.. The expensivetop truly awesome looking, they are 1931 Deluxe Roadster top that were cut & reshaped to give it a more aggressive look and get rid of that buggy appearance .New stained and polyurethaned wood top bows were also used and look great. All of the cars controls & switches are hidden underneath the dash to give it a super clean appearance. The top half of the hood was made into one piece and all fastens to the car with Dzus fasteners (very nice!) the headers exit thru the hood louvers trimmed out with custom stainless steel rings. The red used for the scallops is 1934 Chevy oxblood red, tewart Warner gauges that work along with all lights & wiring harness thru -out,,I purchased this car a cpl of years ago from the aircraft mechanic guy that built it and this was his description. This is a beautiful little roadster thatlooks classy& runs like a bat outta hell, lways 3 pumps on the gas & fires up & runs great. I am sure that I will regret selling it but that's the way it goes for now.Come and inspect if serious,Located in Chicago,10 minutes from Wrigley field home of the Cubs call me if serious Ron @773-878-3000 8-6 privately owned & clear title and titled as a 1929 Ford Roadster.Shipping must be paid for & arranged by buyer.
