Description of 19720000 Ford F-100
Things I have fixed:
  • I have overhauled the brake system
  • Replaced the alternator
  • Installed an original bumper that was not on it when I bought it (It had a diamond plate full sized bumper on it originally.)
  • Replaced the front cover gasket and front main seal
  • Replaced the starter.
This truck does not leak any oil and the engine is clean.
Things that still need to be finished off on this truck:
  • Replace the bench seat upholstery
  • Wood in bed needs to be replaced
  • Steering wheel needs to be replaced
  • Crack inspeaker cover on dash(Can replace or keep as is. Not too bad.)
Not originalequipmenton it:
  • Rims are not original.
  • Radio may not beoriginal. It is an AM/FM radio and in 1972 I believe they only had AM radios.

It is in excellent shape and I try to keep the mechanicals on it running great. I baby it when I drive it but I do drive it around town.
