Description of 1972 Ford Mustang

I would describe this vehicle as a survivor, arn find. It is an original air conditioned car. It appears to be all original except it looks like the top has been replaced and it has been repainted at some point in its past. I would also guess its 95-98% complete. I purchased it about a year ago to keep it from being cannibalized. With only 79,000 miles it is deserving of a restoration. I believe the miles are actual, he title shows 69,000 from 5 years or so ago, nd the odometer currently reads 79,000 +. Wasn't running when I bought it. I was told the car had been sitting for several years and the plates on the car showed it was last licensed in 1995. I've replaced what few partshad beenremoved,(rear brake parts and part of the rear end, rive shaft). I've since gotten it running and the motor sounds good and runs smooth (replaced the original fuel pump with an electronic one). I've also gone through most of the brakes, eplacing rear brake shoes, ront rotors, aster cylinder. Many parts of this car look new or near new, uch as the top and dash pad. Paint is pretty fair, hines nicely with a few dings and scratches. Body is straight except for the rear bumper and appears to have had no body work. Glass is good but the rear glass looks to be wrong for the car. Electrical seems to function, convertible top works, ransmission seems to work okay as well(I've backed it out of and back into the garage a couple of times).

What I know that is wrong with it: power steering hose leaks, here is rust in the bottom, ear frame rails are gone. Front cross member is partly eaten away and should be replaced. The rest underneath appears to be surface rust, inholes in the trunk. As best I can tell, loor pan's seem solid. Gas tank should be replaced or cleaned. I've had it running using the tank but it does clog periodically back in the tank. Left top cylinder leaks, he right one appears to be okay. The interior is mostly all there and in pretty good shape for its age but while useable, ou will want to replace some of it. Please note the interior is placed in the car for photo purposes and so you can see what is there, t is not installed. Air conditioner vacuum hoses were cut so while it looks to be all there I can't say if it works. Brakesneed some work. The car will need to be trailered. Rear bumper damaged, ee photos. Interior door panels are there, ust didn't make it into the photos.

This car could easily be made a driver. I've taken this project as far as I can with the skills, quipment and space that I have. This would be an excellent project for someone with more advanced skills than I and well worth the investment.

Pleasego through all of the pictures.I welcome questions but know that I am no automotive expert and find it nearly impossible to get decent pictures of the underneath of the car.If you livein the area and want to come over and inspect the car before the auction ends or if you want to hire someone to inspect it, ou are welcome. I have described the car to the best of my knowledgebut the Buyer is still responsible forinspecting the vehicle.Car issold as isand doesNOT have any warranty. VIN: 2F03H134808
