1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible. This Galaxie was purchased with the intention of converting it to a Fuel Injected 302 or larger, owever the car runs and drives so good that I decided to make it a driver. I own several high end classics and when ever I decide to go to a show of any distance every one chooses the Galaxie. The Galaxie is equipped with the original bullet proof 6 cylinder engine with a original 3 speed on the column. This car runs, rives, nd stops great. It also looks great. I don't know of any mechanical need. The Galaxie was restored about 15 years ago. The bumpers were re-chromed and a new old stock Grill was installed. The top was replaced and still shows well. The Power top works flawlessly. The paint has a brilliant shine and shows well with some age and wear flaws. The floor pans, runk pan, nd inner rockersand frame are super solid. All glass is good. (no cracks) and work smoothly. All lights work properly. All gauges work including the gas gauge. The Interior was professionally redone about 2 years ago. New Cd AM/FM stereo added as well. New Seats, ront and rear, ew toneau cover etc. Also at this time American Torque Thrust wheels and new Speed rated radials were added. This Galaxie has a clear Georgia TITLE. Georgia first issued titles in late 1963 and does not require a title on 1985 models and back. It is extremely rare for a 1964 Model to still have a Ga. title issued.
