Description of 1953 Ford F-100 |
This F100 is perhaps the nicest F100 you will see. The chassis, ab, oors, ood, rille, ear fenders and box were media blasted to bare metal. The bodywork and paint are some of the best you will see and this truck has won over 120 trophies in the past 5 years since it's completion! Most recently it won best paint at Kool Deadwood Nights car show and Badgerlands Run to the Dells Show. There were over 1,000 vehicles in the Deadwood show. The '53 was the cover truck forthe LMC parts catalog and has appeared in a Ford Custom magazine. The paint is the real eye catcher. It fades from GM Automatic Orange to Cherry pearl to black pearl to black. It's truly captivating and one of a kind. The underside of hood, nner fenders, alve coversand firewall are all show finished in atomic orange and detailed. The power plant is from a 2002 Ford Lightning, aton supercharged 8psi of boost and fuel injectedwith the 4R100 electronic transmission which turns the 8.8 Ford trac-loc 3.73 ratio. To say the truck is fast is an understatement. 385hp, ith 450 ft. lbs. of torque. The truck will get 20mpg on the highway. Other features include:
