Description of 1966 Ford Galaxie

NO RESERVE AUCTION! 1966 Ford 7 Litre Galaxie. The 428 engine, rans and Detroit Locker 3rd member, eats and console are long gone along with other misc parts. I found the car about a year ago out in the middle of Kansas. The previous owner was an elderly man who had owned the Galaxie for over 25 years. I was told at some point many years ago he gave it to his son to drive. His son soon after wrecked the Galaxie (see damage in the picture) and then the son pulled the drive train out to put in something "more sporty". I was told someone stole all the 7 Litre emblems from the Galaxie about 5 years.
What you see is in the pictures is what you get. Most of the glass is great condition. Bumpers are straight. There are parts in the trunk and back seat. The aluminum wheels are original Shelby American wheels and were made in the late 70's and 80's. The Galaxie still has the 7 Litre big double piston brake calipers. As you can see in the pictures there's rust and body damage. The buyer needs to assume there's rust in the frame as well. The Galaxie has it original VIN plates and a clear Kansas title. Obviously, he vehicle is being sold AS-IS. The vehicle WILL SELL to the highest bidder.
