Up for sale is my 37 Deluxe pickup finished about 2 months ago. Its titled, egistered and I have been driving it ever since. They made just over 2000 Deluxe model pickups, rucks andpanelscombined. I have seen and owned many 37 pickups, his is the first Deluxe that I have had the opportunity to buy that was complete. I have someadditionalparts that go with it that I chose not to run like the dual horns and spare tire carrier with the lock. These however are not the tough to find parts though. The tough parts to find are the original chrome grille which is excellent and the super hard to find and also in great shape map light in the pass side wiper cover. The deluxe also included dual wipers, tainless hood side trim and a chrome windshield frame also original to the truck. The truck also has a factory heater pull which I have never seen on a pickup. Just like the choke and throttle pull there is one that says heater. The heater valve and pull are present but the device thatattachesto the exhaust is not.Enough about the deluxe options, his truck had such cool patina to it I wanted keep it. As you can see excellent rockers and cab corners. The back is really good to but has really small amount of rust about 3-4 inches. I can get a pic if needed. So I had a chassis that had been blasted and painted at a previous date. This chassis has had some repair done but is super solid now. This chassis has all new hydraulic brakes, ines, nd hoses with 39 pedals. The breaks stop great and it does not pull. The fuel system is also new and a little updated. New fuel tank and neck with period correct copper lines. I did hide a small quietelectricfuel pump over the rear end to ensure quick starts. I also left themanualpump for visual effect. This feeds a very, ery strong 59abFlatheadbelieved to be an original low mile motor. Never smokes and has great compression in all cylinders. This is backed by the desirable 39 gear box which never has popped out of gear once! I am almost certain this rear end has 3:54 gears as she cruises at 60-65. Tube shocks in the back with a reverse eye slider spring. I took a few leafs out of the front and have no shocks because I feel it rides good this way. I have the mounts and shocks which also can be installed or just go with the truck. All this is cooled by the correct original radiator that has beenre-coredand runs cool even in traffic. She has all new wiring front to back with original generator wound for 12 volts. I did not go original wiring with the horn button activating the lights though. Not a real fan of that set up, ut has high and low beams with a pull mounted on the dash. This is a bob drake conversion kit.All new glass throughout but the driver door glass is not installed. I did this because the driver door is hurt on the bottom and I have another solid straight door that is included. I was torn as to which door to run because again I like the patina of this one. HOWEVER I will install the glass in this one if the buyer chooses, r install the better door with new glass. This is at no charge.Lastly is the bed. The bed was not original to the truck but is a correct 37 bed. This entire truck is bondo free except a couple small spots on the bed. Very very minimal on the bed only. I welded some 14 gauge 90 degree sheet metal around theperimeterof the bed to allow me to remove the floor out the back with minimal effort and leaves you with a super clean finish. The bed floor is tongue and groove engineered oak hardwood flooring. Distressed to match the appearance. Original gate, originalchains and removable floor. This truck is turn key (or push button actually) just as it is. Or makes and excellentcandidateto restore to a high dollar rig. I hate to compare auction prices butunfortunatelythe deluxes are so rare I have limited comps. check out what a restored 37 deluxe went for at Hershey auction.thanks for looking please serious people call with questions 619-24six- four one six4rmsothebys.com/hf10/vintage-motor-cars-of-hershey/lots/1937-ford-deluxe-pickup/564034
