Description of 1927 Ford Model T |
1927 MODEL T FORD - RAT ROD, TREET ROD, OT ROD A real Rat ready for you to do some cruisin' in. Mostly Ford parts for the purist. I've been tearing around in this thing for a month now. It's loud, attles some, cares the neighbors, et the looks and waves everywhere it goes... you know, egular Hot Rod stepchild, at Rod stuff. All steel model T Ford body (Colorado Farm barn find), ith some new steel patch panels rivited in place and chopped about 10". Almost matching doors without windows. Front window chopped and operable. Bullet hole in the rear. Things I've done: - New satin paint (over a rough 88 year old body) - not show quality, here are scratches, ents, he chop welds are not ground out, atch panels (rivited) on the body and on one of the doors, tc....but it's a Rat. - Installed custom professionally build tubular frame with professionally welded on custom mounts and bracketing - Installed a vintage Banjo rear end with drum brakes - Installed a 1969 Mustang 289 engine with 60,000 original miles- Installedvintage Hoffenhauser intake with Holly 4 bl carberator- Installed vintage Holly aluminum valve covers.- Installed a 1969 C4 three speed transmission-Installed new engine and transmission mounts- New Loker tall shifter with new Lokar linkage and kick-down kit - Installed a vintage Ford front end with drum brakes- New Jegs Distributor- New speedway headers with Jegs mufflers and turn-outs - New Pontiac rear lights and Speedway headlights. - New wiring - New electric fan - New aluminum spun fuel tank with new plumbing and pump - New brake master cylinder with new brake lines and brake line sensor - New custom upholstered seats - New wood floor panel floor - New metal tunnel - New Corvair reverse steering box with new pit arm and drag line - New battery with new cabling and connectors - New vintage wheels with new center bullet caps - New radiator with new hoses and claps - New Ford radiator grill shell (chopped and narrowed) - New peep mirrors- Receipts for everything. Things I've not gotten to: - Gauges (the amp meter, emp gauge work - the rest are kaput) - Will need front end king pins eventually - the pain of vintage parts Car comes with bill of sale, ay need a VIN assignment/iinspection in your state.
