1966 Mustang Coupe 289. I will start with what is new. New gas tank, ear quarters, ront and rear valance, ront and rear bumpers, hrome exterior emblems, teering wheel, ash pad, loor in car, ear shocks, oor mirror, tainless steel wipers, edman headers 3" outlets, " in and out glass packs with tips, tarter, arburetor, attery, attery tray, lternator, ater pump, uel pump, lectronic distributor with super coil, rake master cylinder, rake auto adjusters, ransmission seals, lywheel, park plugs and wires, hermostat, ifters, ead gaskets, ear end oil, immer switch, eadlight switch, eadlights, eadlight buckets and trim. Ok now the rest. The engine was a fresh stock rebuild but then sat for 25 years, hat's why I had to replace all the gaskets and pumps, ll dried out. That's how I bought the car, n pieces. Everything else I have replaced in the last year. The rims and tires are new to me but they are used and universal. The carburetor spacer needs to be replaced, ts a poly one and is warped so it has a vacume leak. It needs some interior. Seats are original and have some tears. There is no headliner but still have all the rods for it.It also could use some new ball joints and tie rod ends. There is also no kick down for the carb so Ishift it manually. The paint job was my first attempt. Its not horrible, ut needs to be wet sanded on the hood, oof, nd trunk lid. That's where the dust settled. So it is new paint not gonna rust at least. Other than that, drive this car every weekendand during the week sometimesbecause I love to see the thumbs up and heads turning while I'm going down the road.
