Thisis a 1928 Sedan Delivery for sale in Northern California. It was bought by the family in 1972 as a 2 door sedan and converted with a Gibbons kit. Fenders are originalsteel. The restoration was not completed until 1999 and the car has approximately 1,000 total miles on it since. Engine was built by Stan Vermeil in the 80s and sat on anenginestand until the chassis was finished. This car runs like a watch - in my opinion it outperforms other flathead V8s that I have. A few of the modifications made to the car include:Cragar head (original)Dual carbs39 transDropped axleKelsey Hays wheelsHalibrand QC39 Juice brakes12 V electrical systemThe car is extremely clean and a great driver. I stand by that. However it is not perfect. Items that should be noted are a trans that you must keep your hand on the stick if slowing down on compression in 2nd gear so that it doesn't pop out of gear, block that has a slight external water leak, n ignition that likes to "diesel" when shut down, nd a headliner that sags a bit in the front. As an owner they do not bother me nor deter me from driving or enjoying the car, ut they should be noted. I also have Model A parts for sale that may be useful to a future owner and can be negotiated outside of this sale (machined Model B block and crank, eavy set of after market rods, tc.)I am selling this car because I have already purchased a newer model four seater that I can enjoy better with my young family. This car is great, ut not designed for a family of my size. Any serious bidder should call me to discuss the car in detail. I will tell you anything you want to know. If you are not a serious bidder then please do not waste my time - I do not have much of it and will not waste it on tire kickers.Brian (707)280-8305 PST
