Description of 1964 Ford Galaxie |
I recently bought this car to restore over the winter. Body is very good with no rust through, his car has been stored inside a warehouse since 2002, bought it non running. Drained the tank and added fuel and it started right up. This car needs restored, ow it has old faded paint. Floors and frame real nice. One quarter size hole in the trunk area. This car was originally a black car. Door tag indicates a 390 car although the vin under the hood and title says x code which is a 352. Door must have been replaced at some point in its life. You can order the correct tag from trim tags. Remember this car needs restored but can be driven as is. Sold as is. I will only accept paypal if buyer pays fees. I will add more pictures later. Car has power top and power steering. I believe the engine is a later 390 but I am not sure. Runs good and strong. Also questions like can I drive it across country. This car has been parked for approx. 13 years, bleed the brakes and drove it a couple miles. It ran good and stopped, ut no I would not drive it until brakes are gone through, une up etc... Power top works great, hrome and bumpers are pretty nice. Underside of car looks good. If anyone wants additional photos please send me email address. I can also be reached at 419-265-3306. Remember this car needs to be restored, lthough with a few minor repairs it can be drove as is. Trunk looks worse than it is. Orange paint flaking off and mat backing stuck to floor. Only one small hole. ( see pic) On Sep-06-15 at 07:24:11 PDT, eller added the following information: The rust bubbles on driver rear quarter do not go trough, ust surface bubbles in paint. |
