Hello. I have a used 1991 Ford Mustang LX Hatchback 5. 0 for sale. It is in overall good condition. especially for its age. Everything works with the exception of the a/c and heating (details on why below). Clean and clear title in hand. Inner/Outer Tie rod ends replaced with newSwaybar endlinks replaced with newCar drives great. has a lot of power. enough to chirp going into 3rd. She'll get loose on you if you push her!! Car has no drive-ability issues. Starts right up every time. never shuts off on its own. Does not "sound like its going to die". All gauges work. All tires in good shape. Issues:Car up-shifts into 1st a bit rough. notice it when coming to a slow stop like at a red light. There is no air conditioning or heat but does blow outside air in. Car has been repainted with a poor quality paint and is chipping in various places. Car rolls when put in park because the transmission pawls (gears that stop the car from rolling in park) are probably stripped from being parked on a hill by the previous owner and not using the e-brake. The e-brake has to be used when parking on a slope. when flat it is not needed. Because of the 4:10's and the car being an AOD. the speedometer cannot be corrected and thus the odometer is off (car thinks its going faster than it really is). For example. the speedometer will display 60mph and in actuality you are going 45mph. Car leaks oil from the rear main. I was saving this for when I rebuild the transmission - can be taken care of at the same time. No other leaks anywhere else. Car is also not smog legal (In Arizona. it does not need to be if you can carry classic/collector car insurance which I have). Car can be emissions exempt depending on your states DMV laws. For whatever reason. Arizona DMV red-flags anything other than standard odometer readings. This red-flag is simply due to the fact that the Mustang only comes with a 5 digit odometer (standard). Obviously the car has rolled over 100. 00 but this is in excess of its mechanical limits. Autocheck treats this as a red-flag and the cars score is lower than it really should be.
