"Old School" Hot Rod is a high performance street machine that was designed to be driven. The artistry of this build is best seen in the details. Masterfully constructed with the perfect modicum of Fiberglass Body. Polished Chrome. Stainless Steel. and Aluminum parts. she has New components throughout including the completely rebuilt powerful 350 cu. in. V8 with Tall Double-Hump Cylinder Heads. Driven less than 3. 00 miles since her ground-up build in 2010. this beauty lacks nothing and shows extremely well. DRIVETRAIN: She has excellent power over a broad power band. Powering this Hot Rod is a rebuilt Classic 350 CID engine (Casting # 3970010) bored . 030" over with Tall. Double-Hump Cylinder Heads from a HIPO 327 block. Her Lunati 00010 High Efficiency Camshaft gives her a strong mid-range torque and HP as well the popular and Distinct Lopey Idle. For that excellent look and sound her Custom Dual Exhaust begins with Edelbrock Ceramic coated Headers joined to custom Stainless Steel exhaust pipes and Glass Pack mufflers ending in Polished exhaust tips. This set up emits a Delicious Growl when revved. Her Edelbrock Performer Carburetor with Edelbrock 2" Carb Spacer is mounted on a Holley Dominator. "Hi-Rise" Aluminum Intake Manifold. She has a stall converter and increased compression ratio and gearing. Putting that power to use is a three-speed GM TH350 Air Cooled Automatic Transmission with Torque converter mated to a C3 Corvette rear end. Elegance and Performance define her suspension. Her exposed Polished Super Bell "I" Beam drop axle. Polished Stainless Steel upper and lower control arms and Polished Chrome SM401 Pro Shocks make up her Front Suspension. Her mostly chrome C3 Corvette rear independent suspension with polished chrome shocks. Multi- leaf springs. Chrome Halfshafts. Rear Stabilizer Bar. and Chrome Strut Rods combine to create a system that provides excellent handling while being aesthetically pleasing . Other components include an E-Z wiring harness.
