Description of 1957 Ford F-100 Step side

This is a rare find! Classic step-side pick up. older restoration (15 years ?). still shines nice. Has normal dings. chips and chafes as you would expect for a driver. Was originally from Arizona and then brought to Michigan. stored in a dry environment for several years so there is very little rust. Interior is clean and complete with a clean tear-free. black. vinyl. original-style cover. Truck hadn't run for three years when we got it. It now runs but will need a tune up and exhaust manifold flange gaskets. Hydraulic clutch works fine as does the original 4 speed manual transmission. Muffler and tailpipe are newer looking. Replaced the brake master cylinder and bled the brakes so that they are working. (Linings look newer). The engine is a 272 Y-Block with an Autolite four barrel carburetor upgrade. It has new plug wires. cap and rotor. and ignition coil. as well as a new starter solenoid and battery. The 15" wheels are custom aluminum with finned centers painted black. Tires look good but not sure how old they are. (One still has the sticker on the tread). This truck will need very little to be a daily driver or cruiser.
