Description of 1965 Ford Galaxie

1965 Galaxie 500 Convertible. Super straight and clean. All chrome. stainless trim and glass is there and in good condition. Runs. drives and stops very well and smooth. California car- very solid. There is a little surface rust on the floor boards but nothing serious. Just replace front brakes and turned drums. Got it from a local guy who owned it for 25 years that claims that it has only 36k original miles. I can't verify that however. Vehicle has been stored inside. Interior needs to be redone and a new top is needed. I got 2 bids to get interior and top redone. both right around $3500. 352 engine purs like a kitten. tranny shifts smooth. Power steering is very good and solid. The beauty of this car is that is is complete and it has never been chopped up. and no one ever tried to make it into a hot rod. The power convertible to works well. I took it to the interior guy and we put it up and down and he said it is good to go. Vehicle is very reliable and I would not hesitate to take it anywhere. Heater. blinkers. windshield wipers all work well. Radio does not work. No spare tire but the trunk is clean . large and rust free. Any questions please call or message me.
