1956 Ford Thunderbird, 8, uto transmission. My friend bought this car from the original owner. The car had been setting in a carport for a few years. He ask me to pickup the car and get it running for him. I picked the car up and drained all the fluids, removed the spark plugs and put oil in the cylinders added new engine oil and filter. I turned the engine over until the oil pressure came up. I replaced the gas tank and all the fuel lines front to back and installed a new fuel pump. I sent the carburetor out and had it rebuilt. I also sent the distributor out to be rebuilt. I replaced the water pump and hoses, ent the radiator out for cleaning, ew plugs and wires. I rebuilt all the brakes with all new wheel cylinders and master cylinder with all new rubber brake hoses. The car had new tires. The car was originally black but was painted white years ago because it was to hot. The car is rust free and no sign of any accidents. The interior needs to be restored and a few other things to make it really nice. A $1000.00 deposit due at the end of the auction. The balance to be paid within three days. This car is sold as is. Thanks for looking and good luckOn Nov-09-15 at 07:39:03 PST, eller added the following information: Hi, was asked if the car ran and drove, Yes the car runs and drives and stops, drove down the freeway at 70mph and it drove fine.
