All steel 1934 Ford Cabriolet. This is an early Southern California custom with body mods made back in the 1950's. The rust-free body was sectioned and shortened with some masterful hammer welding techniques. The car was purchased as a complete body out of San Diego about 5 years ago and has been built into the car you see here. For more on the history of the car, o to The Hamb forum andsearch "34 Ford Cabrio Pics" dated 10/11/14. ---Old Ford steelies 15x5's ---Coker bias ply's 8.20's/5.60's ---Front axle is Socal with Socal spring with adjustable perches and new bones from Speedway ---Front brakes are 1940 ford with new wheel cylinders and Buick aluminum drums with polished fins. ---New brakes hoses and lines through out. ---Rearend is mid seventies maverick 8" with all new brake parts and drums are '82 ford pickup ---Engine is a NOS Chevy 283 ci V8block with "standard" steel crank, rv cam, econditioned rods, ew pistons, ings and bearings as well as oil pump. Heads are "power pack" completely re-done. New seats and guides. Intake manifold is '65 327/300hp with Edlebrock 1405 carb. Rams horn exhaust manifolds with old school Smithy mufflers. ---Trans is late 70's 350 Turbo completely rebuilt. ---Original Henry 1934 grille above average condition. ---New "Tanks" gas tank. ---Steering box is Vega cross steer. Steering column is '59 ford passenger car with '59steering wheel. ---Body mods include 4" section, " chop and 5" shortened. Bear claw door latches added for safety. ---car has clear Kentucky title. ---NSRA safety 23 inspected as well as inspected by state of KY. The car runs, rives and handles very well and is perfectly reliable. Does not leak or overheat. Stops straight and true. Happy to have you fly in and drive home, r will help on your transport.
