Description of 1972 Ford F-100 |
This is a very rare 1972 4X4, estored Hagerty's values this truck at approx. 32,000. Dec 5, 015 I purchased the new Cooper Discovery AT3 tires that are on it now. This is a very tight great running truck, ll doors and windows open and close as they should. And all the seals are in excellent shape. The firewall insulation and floor mat are in excellent shape, ith no rips or tears. The seat is also in excellent shape, o holes rips or tears. The dashboard is not warped or cracked, robably due to the factory fully tinted windows used in desert environment, hich is listed on the window sticker that is included with the truck. Also have original warranty card and warranty documents, nd original purchase order. I also have service receipts dating back to original purchase of which some are billed to Carson City, V. Fire Department. I believe this truck was in the fire department Forestry Division. I drained all the old gas out of the fuel tank and lines, nstalled new fuel pump, 50CFM Edelbrock Carb, park plugs and did a compression check. This motor has 190 psi average static compression in each cylinder. I am not sure if this is the original 360 or an upgraded to 390 or 428, 28 is written on the hood from factory in pencil. This truck may have been special ordered with a 4BBL and larger motor for Government Forestry use. Buyer is responsible for delivery however it may be possible that I can deliver it out west. (I need a vacation) I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Thank you for your interest in my truck. |
