Here is a car you don't see much anymore. It's a 1971 Ford Maverick that was bought new here in Tallapoosa, a. It has the original 200 6 Cylinder engine with a C-4 three speed automatic transmission. It was driven about 80 miles when we bought it without issues. Car runs and drives really good. It has that natural Patina look going for it. The body is good and solid. It has a metal grabber hood on it but we also have the original hood. The front seat cover on drivers side needs repaired or recovered and both armrest could use replacing. Otherwise the back seat, oor panels and headliner are good. Dash pad looks ok as well. The heater works as well as the defroster. The interior dome light works as well as the headlights, aillights, linkers and brake lights. Doors shut good and windows roll up and down like they should. All the glass is good. Wipers work as well as speedometer and gas gauge. The trunk is solid and has a spare tire. The passenger floor pans have pinhole rusted places in them but not terrible. It has had new brakes and brake lines put on it. This would be a good car to turn into a drag race car or do a V8 swap in. Of course you could leave it as is and just enjoy it as a good driver car. I don't know the exact mileage on this car but was told that the 79K miles was actual miles but again I can't prove that. I do have alot more pics of this car if anyone is interested in seeing them just let me know. My number is available on request. This car is also for sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold as is with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre sale inspections are always welcomed and encouraged so you will know exactly what you are bidding on. This must be done before end of auction. If you bid and meet reserve and are high bidder at end of auction then you have bought it. This car is being sold with a current Georgia registration as Georgia is a Non Title state on vehicles this old. You will be able to get a title in your state with the paperwork I give you so don't worry about this. Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking
