Nice base clear paint with pearl in the first coat of clear. The color is a BASF Diamont RM M8380X (or possibly M8308X, y receipts show it both ways) its a very dark purple color thats beautiful, coats laid over a black base, t looks black out of the sun. The top is a single stage white with some flattener mixed in at 30% (I think 30% if I remember correct). Over $3,700 in paint receipts alone for materials! Odometer shows 67,xxx miles, itle is mileage exempt (not rare, E is a pain with anything over 10 years old), riginal title status. I don't have a reason to believe the vehicle has more than the odometer mileage, ut it is exempt. I've put about 8,000 miles on the vehicle in the 12 years I've owned it. I have receipts for 95% of whats listed here that total in excess of $12,000! and keep in mind that's just materials! To fully disclose any know defects here's a list of things that might concern you - I do smell a coolant odor and suspect the radiator has a leak at the very top, t never leaves a drop of coolant but you can smell it. I believe it seals up hot and slightly leaks out vapor when cooling down. I've driven it this way 2 years and it isn't a concern to me - 3 paint flaws noted in the pictures. Drivers door above the key handle, aint is lifting and cracked. Drivers front hood, weld cracked causing the paint to crack and lift. Passenger/middle hood, star crack in the paint. Keep in mind this was painted long enough ago that any paint flaws that would show up have, o no more should appear. You never know what you're getting on a newly painted vehicle. The fact this was painted in 2005 is a plus. - washer squirters inop - the pump isn't hooked up (reservoir is there, ot sure if it holds fluid, 've never bothered to hook it up) - coolant shut off valve works but doesn't have a cable hooked up - I just move it manually - speedo jumps - its a cable issue - oil psi gauge reads high (not an oil psi issue, lectrical issue) (if it has psi its good so no need to fix) - horn inop - issue in the horn contacts in the column - cracked passenger topper window - t-case will slip into neutral once in a while if driving on the highway with light load (more than likely a shifter adjustment but not a concern of mine so I drive it that way, ust put it back in gear) All of the things listed above aren't big issues, ore nit pick items. 100% of the Broncos for sale need something (if they cost less than 40k). I just want to disclose everything I can so the new owner is happy =) When you've owned something this long you forget things, 'm sure there's other stuff that's been done I've forgotten, ts been a fun Bronco. I would like to sell it to fund another project that's been sitting idle for 10 years. I'm in no hurry to sell |
