Purchased brand new in South Florida in 1970-Given to his Son for his 16th Birthday!

This car was purchased New from a Ford Franchised dealer in 1970. When his Son turned 16, e gave hismuch loved Mustang to his Son...what an incredible gift for any kid to receive at the age of 16!
Several years ago Rick & his Dad decided to completely disassemble his Mustang and do what all guys and their Dads love todo...namely MORE HORSEPOWER.
The engine and transmission were removed and a well known performance engine builder stroked a 351 CID V-8 block to 383cid.This is notmatching numbers car and the color was changed to Hugger Orange during the restoration.

All the best parts were used, rankshaft, istons, ings, earings, luminum heads, ig intake and exhaust valves, amshaft, ifters,rocker arms, ntake manifold, SD ignition & distributor, ustom Aluminum high capacity radiatorwith safety overflow system,and a 850cfm Holley doublepumper carburetor.
The chassis was correctly addressed with some very nice custom traction bars, ront & rear sway bars and a welded half link treatment.
The list is quite long and the receipts are even more than Rick wants to add up....the restoration wasdocumented with detailedphotographs and is contained ina nice thick book thatwill come with the sale of this special mustang.
