1992 Ford F250 F-250 Extended Cab 4x4 ***ONLY 53K MILES!!!***

Up for auction is my 1992 Ford F250 extended cab 4x4 truck with only 53,000 original miles, inished in medium platinum metallic over dark charcoal interior. I am only the second owner of this truck, aving purchased it this summer...the original owner only logged an average of 2,000 miles per year! This was clearly his weekend or vacation toy — the truck appears to have been garaged its entire life. I've owned about 10 of this family of trucks (1992-1996 F-series trucks and Bronco), nd this is without a doubt the finest one I've ever owned.

The Interior

The interior is finished in dark charcoal herringbone tweed fabric, hich was only offered for the 1992 and 1993 model years. It's an exceptionally well-wearing fabric, ar stronger than the fabric used in the 1994-1996 trucks. There are absolutely no tears, tains or snags in the upholstery or carpet, nd the seat cushions and bolsters are still firm. The lumbar support works on both seats. There is a storage console between the seats, omplete with the original removable cupholders and storage tray (almost always gone on trucks of this age). The rear seat cushions fold to create a flat, ard surface for storage. There are no cracks in the dash or pad, nd there is a dashmat cover included. The small details which usually show cracks and drying with age (window wing locks, oor handles, indow and door gaskets) are still black and supple without being covered in silicone. Everything works as new — power windows and door locks, ir conditioning, ruise control, ilt steering, orn, ap lights, ven the original AM/FM cassette stereo (truck is the XLT Lariat trim level). Floor mats were replaced with new OEM Ford carpeted mats; additional rubber mats are included. Original owner's manual and service guide are located in the glove box. Two sets of ignition and glove box lock keys.

The Exterior

The exterior is finished in medium platinum metallic paint. Again, his vehicle must have been garaged all its life, s the usual problem areas in the paint (hood and roof) show no signs of oxidation, nd the paint still sparkles (hard to capture in pics, ut the close up of the 4x4 logo and VIN placard show it); has a great coat of wax, mooth to the touch and water beads and rolls right off. All exterior lights are clean and clear without oxidation or water leaks. The exterior window seals and bumper trim are still black and soft, o chalking or cracking. The only significant blemish is located at the lower left rear corner of the truck — the original owner tapped something with the bumper — the bumper was replaced when I purchased the truck. There are a few minor scratches on the paint which are barely noticeable; no parking lot dings. The truck is a rust-free California vehicle.

351 cid (5.8L) V8 engine, speed manual HD transmission

Factory 4.10 rear axle ratio with limited slip differential

4x4 with floor mounted selector, utomatic locking hubs

Front disc/rear drum brakes with rear ABS

Two fuel tanks, ombined capacity 37 gallons — both fuel pumps work, o backflow issues (common on these trucks)

Towing capacity 6,900 pounds

Service history — the original owner documented the first 30,000 miles of service history in the owner's manual — there are additional services indicated on the Carfax. Additional services performed when I purchased the truck including changing brake and transmission fluid, ew battery, ew serpentine belt; new alternator, ront end alignment; oil change and wiper blades. I recently had the truck serviced at the local Ford dealership; their inspection gave a green light to everything on the truck (in fact the service advisor asked if I wanted to sell it!) Tires only have about 15,000 miles on them; tread is at 8/32" . Front brake pads are at 8mm; rear drums are at 4mm. Truck has always passed California emissions test.
