Restoration Project! 1959 Ford Galaxie Victoria
Title has body type: Victoria (I don't know what this means, ut a guy told me it was a kind of style...I found online club, rown, own Victoria...Buyer hopefully knows what this means).
Bought new by my father in '59. He and his brother began to restore car but did not get completed. Engine was completely rebuilt by them and turned over. My dad and his brother were experienced mechanics and had rebuilt many engines. In the 60's my uncle had accident with car in which he ran off road and damaged fender and hood (maybe engine - I don't whole story and they are all deceased -but for some reason they did not fix car after the accident and when they started restoration they rebuilt engine. Fender and hood were fixed and set on car but might not be attached. I don't know a thing about cars. Radiator, rill, ights, ther missing parts likely are here but likely mixed with other auto parts (when we cleaned out garage we were not careful to keep separate, nd I don't know one kind from another (possibly buyer would know - obviously any/all parts go with car). Keys are there. Glass on passenger side window has crack, thers all intact.
I don't have place to store car and has been outside for past year (we had covered) and unfortunately would not know where to start to restore myself. Tires (when we moved last year) did hold air to move car, ut tires are old and will need replacing. I believe my dad said they had not replaced brakes, ires, tc.
