Description of 1967 Ford Mustang GT350 Carl Shelby Mustang Fastback

Classic muscle cars are getting harder to find especially the rare, esirable ones. Every once and a while one of these classics will turn up like the most recent 1969 Dodge Daytona that is featured at the Mecum auto auction that's coming up in Kissimmee, lorida. Well, he wait is over I have just located another true barn find that has been in storage for more than 45 years. It is none other than a one owner, ocumented, 0,000 mile car. This true SAAC 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 barn find is an original one owner car, hat's right I said one owner. Zero miles on the title and 20,000 on the odometer. The car is being sold straight out of the barn in patina storage condition. The gas tank and the carburetor were cleaned out, attery installed and she's running. That's it. It retains all the dust it's collected for the past 27 years. It all started when a 17 year old boy came home with a brochure of his dream car, 1967 Shelby Mustang, rom Johnny Bolton Ford in Orlando, lorida. Him and his mom made a deal, s long as he went to college with his girlfriend she would purchase the car for him in which she did. She gave the young man a $50.00 check to take down to the dealership and the following day she stroked another check for the full purchase of the car. I actually have both checks along with the original bill of sale and the pamphlet he brought home that day in the summer of 1967. Being a young man at that time he briefly went to college and then ended up starting work. He decided to buy a Dodge Dart as a daily driver and stored the Shelby. His family owned a successful auto parts store and machine shop as he worked months turned into years, hen decades. Many years passed until the 1980's when he decided to pull the car out and freshen it up by repainting it, eupholstering the seats, eplacing the tires and upgrading a few things. Also, ince his family owned a machine shop he had the original engine rebuilt. After tinkering and piddling with it he stored it away again in 1988 until now. The car is in incredible condition when you think about it. First off there is only slight surface rust on undercarriage components. There is not one rust bubble on the entire car. The car has never been in an accident. It retains all of its original sheet metal. It has the original drivetrain however the engine was rebuilt and the heads are not the originals. Also, he distributor, arburetor and exhaust manifolds were upgraded at that time. The power steering pump is not installed due to him having Hillborn injector set up on it temporarily. Pump and bracket would not fit but he decided to go back carbureted and did not reinstall before it was stored away the second time. Most of all of the components on the car are original. The car is painted its original Brittany blue with a beautiful lacquer finish that still shows well but does have storage patina. The cowl vents are perfect with no damage or rust, loor pans and drop offs are immaculate, attery apron and floor boards are free of rust damage, uarter panels, ear end drop offs retains original factory rubber drains, ash lights, urn signals, M radio comes on, tc. There isn't a single rust bubble on the car. Interior is in great condition like the rest of the car. The markings on the original steering wheel are from him driving while wearing his class ring. This extraordinary ride has been very well preserved and has aged gracefully over the decades. Keep it as is or clean and detail and restore it to its showroom quality easily? This will make a Shelby fan's dream come true just as it did its original owner. Who would've thought the next barn find would be a one owner, 0,000 mile documented true SAAC 1967 Ford Shelby mustang? This very well could be the last ONE OWNER 1967 Ford Shelby Mustang barn find in existence.
