Description of 1927 Ford Model T |
This is the real deal. Barn find 1927 model T racer. Modified back in the day. It has a #7 in the grill, he door and on the truck. It has indistinguishable lettering on both sides of the car. This car starts and runs. This car is a real head turner. Everywhere I take it, t is highly posed with and photographed. This 1927 Ford Model T was built for racing sometime in the '30s.Dirt track racing was very popular during the late '20s and early '30s. The Model T was the choice for the part time racer. This car has theoriginal suspension and fuel system modifications. I can never get over how cool the paint and lettering are. I had a newtonneau cover made thatsnappedright onto the snaps. Thistransform thisSpeedster into race mode. I also love the small, ustom windshield on the driver's side to providesome protection on those 30's dirt tracks. The car runs a200 ci. Model A 4 cylinder with twin Ford Carbs and a 3-speed manual transmission and exhaust header.I am toldthis car saw racing in Iowa and Nebraska on dirt tracks as late as the 1940's.
