Description of 1925 Ford Model T

My dad found this T in a barn (where else?) when he was in his teens back in the early 50s and completely restored it then. But then it sat in a garage in Indiana for 20 years. was hauled to California and was stored. disassembled. in another garage for another 20 years. Then in the late 90s I was able to financially support my Dad's efforts to completely restore the T again. but this time everything was top-of-the-line. New teak wood. custom upholstered seats. all new felt interior. overhauled engine and transmission. and new wheels and tires. We also added a classy (and expensive. as I recall) chrome radiator cap and temp gauge along with the three Oil. Fuel and Water cans you can see on the left running board. Since this complete rebuild. which was competed in 1998. the T has been driven a total of six times (about 40-50 miles) – two parades. three trips to the Moose Lodge so my Dad could show it off. and one short. final trip down the road and back before he passed away in 2003. I love my T. and have always been very proud of it. Which begs the question. So why am I selling it? Long story short. I had always planned to pass my T down to my children. but since I never got around to having any (and am now in my mid-50s) and I'm trying to raise funds for a new business venture. it's just time to put emotions aside and be practical. As you can see from the images there are a lot of spare parts included with the T. Here's a list of what I can identify (I'm sure you veteran T-folk can identify more): Engine block (1925 - SN 12718176) Real left quarter panel Running board Axel housings and brakes (2) Rear axel assembly (incl. differential) Extra front axel Steering column rod Steering wheel (original) Hand brake assembly Tie rod Cam shafts (2) Crank shaft Front end wishbones (2) Shackle parts and bushings Water pump Windshield wiper Pedals (2) Rims (11) Luggage rack (original) Jacks (3. two are original) Large roll of extra upholstery Wheel rims (11) Spark plugs (5. new) Two boxes full of miscellaneous small parts (incl. lots of transmission. engine parts) I would love to keep the license plates for sentimental reasons. but if this is a deal breaker then I'll certainly include them. The VIN (Serial Number) on the engine block is 7889195 which corresponds to a 1923 block. However. the extra block you see in the image. which I believe is the original. is a 1925 (12718176). This block looks fine (no cracks) so I have no idea why my Dad switched it out. The T is a 1925. but besides the engine block it does include a small number of parts that are either '24 or '26. so it's not a 100% stock rebuild. Also. at some point over the years it appears someone spray painted something white and was a little too close to the T. so there is a very fine. faint misting of white over the back trunk section and the back of the two rear fenders. However. I have successfully buffed out small sections by hand. so anyone with access to a disc sander with a buffer wheel attachment should have no problem restoring these areas. There is also a slow leak in the right rear tire. Let's see. what else? Oh yeah… Yes. it runs! I've done a lot of market research and feel this is a very fair price considering the quality of material that was put into it. it's current condition. and all the extra parts. But I'll always listen to offers. The T is sold as-is. of course. and all sales are final. One final note: If you're looking for a Model T to chop up and make a hot rod out of. please don't respond. Contact me if you have any questions and I'll try to provide an answer the best I can. Thanks for your interest.
