Description of 1968 Ford Mustang

1968 Ford Mustang Convertible. Lowest production year for convertibles. Miles shown is suspected to be original but cannot be confirmed. Car was parked 12yrs prior to 1994 and then put into storage in 2002 after being vandalized. Windshield was broken and top was ripped. 289. auto. P. S. . power top. original color was Acapulco Blue and repainted to what you see. Converted to electronic ignition with a Pertronix ignition module. Front end was rebuilt in 1995 and has maybe 1000 miles on it. ball joints. lower control arms. upper shaft kits. bushings. etc. New T/As. rims were sandblasted and powder coated but some rust bleeding through. Center caps and trim rings are new from Ford. Top was replaced along with new cables. top pads. well liner. top boot. and glass back window not plastic. A lot of parts not pictured go with car. pictures available upon request. nbsp;original as well as reproduction. to much to list individually. Pair of original doors are solid no rust but have a couple of small dings. Trunk lid and vented hood also solid no rot. Car runs and drives but at present time has no brakes and must be trailered. Needs total restoration. typical Mustang issues. floor pans. frame work. trunk floor with drop-offs. etc. Sold as is. as seen. Buyer responsible for picking up or shipping arrangements and fees.
