"The Royal Hawaiian" All steel body scratch build by owner and builder Robert Ruiz.Build was heavily influenced by Ed Roth's 1960s showrods and the desire for something completely different than currently out there. First debut at the GNRS 2011. Shown all over the Southern California car circuits. To include invite only to Blackie Gejeian's Fresno Autorama, est of Show at Ventura Beatnik Blowout, est in Class and Best Engine at Long Beach Motorama, eature car at Hot Rod Magazine Homecoming Pomona CA Drivetrain1957 Chrysler 392 HEMI. Deburred block .Pearl white with fine silver flake. Balanced and boared .30 over, od and main .10. 9:1 JE forged pistons, 1 Hbeam rods, eiand manifold, MC 671 Don Hampton of Downey CA built blower with dual quads. Joe Hunt (fake "o" mag) 1960's Saginaw 3 speed transmission deburred and painted pearl white. Vintage Drag fast shifter. 1960's Econoline 9inch rear end rebuilt 3.00 gears. Paw finned aluminum valve covers. Hand crafted exhaust headers. Gauds of chrome by MGB Platting of Rialto CA. Chassis and SuspensionLincoln style front brakes with 1960 Buick drums on ford spindles. Stock Model A frame Z 4 inches in front and 6 inches in rear. Boxed. Stock Model A cross member modified and reinforced. Modified model A suicide front end. All chromed. Model T rear leaf spring and Speedway pan hard bar & trailing arms. Chromed. Steering box 1955 Dodge D100. Body and PaintHeavily modified all steel 1927 Ford Phaeton. Lengthened 30 inches. Custom fabricated molded rear tail lights with 4 59' caddy lights and chrome mesh insert. 1932 Ford grill shell with chrome mesh insert. Chopped and chromed windshield with custom build Carson style flip top. Model A firewall.Paint on body is one off blended green pearl with fine silver flake. Frame is pearl white with green tint.
