Description of 1990 Ford Bronco |
For sale is a partially "restored" 1990 Ford Bronco 4x4 with the 351W larger motor, 09k miles. Ive had this truck for a little more than a year, nd have been restoring for a beach, oods, ummer, un truck but unfortunately I have moved to California and I could not take the truck. The truck is with my father in Indian Rocks Beach and can be seen as needed, ith me giving details over the phone. This is my 2nd Bronco and I am fairly familiar with the odds and ends of the FSB. I just put $3500 in the truck for new gears (front and rear) with an electronic locker in the rear. With the wheels and 35" tires being ~$2k and the custom fastback top, he asking price gets you the truck for "free" The truck is not perfect, ut I was daily driving it the past month since my daily driver was shipped to California. It has been tastefully modded and is ~$1k away from being an awesome truck (my opinion). The GOOD: -Big Motor 4x4 -Custom fastback top, ITH Hardtop -Good wheels with Good tires -Brand new 4.56gears front and rear -Auburn E-locker in rear -Removed all carpet and bedlined the interior (for topless use) -Cut out major rust and welded in new panels (pics available) -Heavy Duty Brush Guard -Brand new 4" extended radius arm lift with new shocks and leaf springs (not a shitty body lift) -New, ninstalled brake pads and SS brake lines included The BAD: -No Radio -No AC (installed and fan blows, ay just need freon, ut with the top off I dont need AC) -E4OD does not like to STAY in Overdrive. It will go in and out randomly. Somedays never, omedays constantly. Usually after a few hiccups it decides to stay one way or the other. -Previous owner painted the truck black over the original (i think) red. He did not do a great job, ut it is a good 5ft paint job. This was perfect for me because the truck looks good but im not worried about every little knick. -Some oil leaks but motor runs strong, ot worth fixing until something goes wrong. -There is some areas of minor rust still. These arent of major concern to me, s I fixed the big areas, ut just for disclosure. PO repaired some areas with bondo that didnt hold. -Turn signal does not hold to the left -Lower dash was taken off to paint the faux wood trim black, ut I never did it(parts included in sale) -Previous owner installed a door latch to hold glovebox shut All in all, ruck drives good, little rough but not unexpected. Tracks straight. Its a little money and effort from being a great truck but my loss is your gain! PLEASE NOTE: When picking up the truck, he soft top cannot be transported within the hard top. we would need to work something out if this is an issue. Thanks for reading. |
