Description of 1994 Ford Mustang |
Another fixed price listing, nother zero feedback/no contact/no payment buyer. This is getting old. We'll go auction this time with no "buy now" option. Please Note: I will cancel any bid from a bidder with zero, egative or less than 10 feedback unless you contact me beforehand and convince me you intend to complete the sale. The best way to do that is to come see the car in person. I encourage you to ask any questions you may have about the car, nd come see it if you can. 1994 Mustang Convertible, eal over White leather. The Good: 1 owner Straight body, ever in an accident A/C blows cold, eater works Mach 460 system with added 10 CD changer All service records in the form of a journal I kept - I service it myself for the most part Original clutch still strong Engine has never used oil 4 wheel disk brakes, erviced in the recent past Clear title Tires replaced last year; maybe 6,000 miles on them Original Teal paint in good shape except as noted below The Bad: Top needs replacement - no rips or tears but it does leak through stitching Clear coat failing in one patch above the left rear wheel (see pictures) Driver seat in poor condition with torn leather, eeds professional help Passenger seat in decent shape but should be re dyed Small area of rust through in the left strut tower And the biggie, ngine misfiring on one cylinder - read more below Okay, e: the engine. It was my daily driver and ran well up until a couple of weeks ago when it started misfiring. I have replaced the plugs, ires, oil and fuel pressure regulator to no effect, nd now it's blowing white smoke from the tailpipe. Uh oh, fear this is a head gasket failure. I replaced the head gaskets in early 2007 (at 107,000 miles) with genuine Ford multi layer steel ones and did the valves at that time. I'm not keen to do the head gaskets again, o it's time to say goodbye. I would call this a project car or a mechanic's special. It's really too nice to junk, hough that's what will happen if it doesn't sell in a reasonable time. Can you drive it home? Yes, f you're not going too far. It hasn't shown any tendency to overheat, et. I would keep a very close eye on it. Local pickup only, will not ship. Please message me if you're outside the Central NJ, astern PA area so we can discuss pickup. Car is for sale locally; I reserve the right to end this listing early if it sells. |
