NO RESERVE!!!!! 1946 Ford coupe. This is a "RUST FREE" California car. It spent it's entire life in California, tored inside it's whole life, p until I bought it two years ago and had it shipped back to Northwest Ohio.It has been stored inside in my heated warehouse ever since I brought it back. I bought this car from the estate of a friend in Bakersfield, alifornia. He made a life working on other people's cars, rucks, nd hot rods and had been working on this car in his spare time for the last 35 years or more. This was his pride and joy and he told me several times about how nice the car was. I did not realize just how nice the car actually was until I bought it. The car has ZERO rust through anywhere! Floor pans and trunk pan look perfect as do the bottoms of the doors. No major dents or dings. It is in amazing condition. It is all there. The car was totally disassembled body off. The frame was cleaned, rimer applied, nd painted gloss black. A 9" Ford drum brake rear end was installed with new springs and mounts. It still needs rearshocks added. A dropped fat man coil spring "A"- Arm" front end with shocks was installed with rack and pinion power steering and disc brakes. All new brake lines have been ran up front but not to the rear. A new fuel tank was added in the stock location. A new 350 Chevy crate motor with a new air conditioning compressor bolted toa new 350 turbo transmission was installed. The firewall has been finished and painted gloss black. The body was mounted back on the frame using all new body mounts. GM tilt steering column installed. The dash is painted gloss black and VDO gages have been added. (Speedometer, oltage, ater temp., uel gage, nd oil pressure.) New headers with new exhaust ran back about a third of the way. Complete new wiring harness. New power window regulators. Back window glass is good. Rear Quarter windows are there and look good. Door glass is there and there is new glass for the doors as well. The front windshield glass is not with the car but it is flat glass. The seat is there and it has been recovered. The rear license plate mounting area has been frenched into thetrunk lid and looks perfect.Rear bodyroll pan. It is dusty from sitting in the warehouse but it will clean up easily. The sheet metal on this car is amazing and will make an awesome car when done. I will never get this car finished with the other projects that I have in the works. My loss and your gain.
