Description of 1963 Ford F-100 F-100 PICK UP

I want to start off by asking you to please call forhonest answers BEFORE you bid. Or better yet, ome by and look at the vehicle or have someone inspect it for you. I do the best I can describing my vehicles and I include very good pictures that can be expanded. I do this to try and avoid any misunderstandings. It is impossible to list every little item on a vehicle that may or may not beimportant to a buyer. Thanks.
Also, lease read thepayment section carefully. Iwill not vary off of what isexplained there. Cashiers checks may have hold put on them by my bank. My bank will give me a letter of how long the hold will be. I will forward a copy of the letter to you. The length of hold depends on the bank that it is sent from. Some smaller banks cantake up to 10 business days. The car will not leave here until my banksays the check has cleared. No exceptions. That is why I like wire transfers and cash.
This is a super cool Ford F-100 short wide bed custom cab style sidepickup truck.
Body: The cab is rust free top to bottom. The bed has rust along the edge next to the cab which is arelativelyeasy fix. The bedhas some other much smaller rust holes as well as the tail gate. See pics.The paint is mostly original and has great patina. I have extra paint from the interior cab restoration that comes with it. The hood is dented up pretty good, ut there is a near perfect hood in the bed that is included with the sale. There are other minordents and dings in the body as you can see in the pics. Glass is all good. Windows work well. The front bumper is new. The grille is from a different year, ut the original one is included and is in greatshape. New weatherstripping. The fuel tank is under the bed now and not behind the seat as they were from thefactory. Gives a little more leg room and no more gassmells.
Chassis: Thechassis has been completely painted black. The front suspension is from a PlymouthVolare. These front ends are commonly used on these old Ford trucks to give a lower stance, mproved handling, nd increased braking power. There is actually an aftermarket kit that is used to make the swap which it keeps the original frame rails so it looks factory. The rear end is the factory 9" Ford. The factory spring mounts have been repositioned to give the rear end a lower stance. This truck handlesvery well around turns andstops great. Power steering and brakes.
Driveline: The engine and transmission are rebuilt and came from a 1966/67 Ford Galaxie 500 Wagon. Engine is the monster big block 428 cu in FE and the trans is the huge MX Cruise-O-Matic 3 speed. The engine has a moderate cam in it which has asubtle but nicelobe to it. It is verypowerful with new carb, eaders, ll new exhaust, oses, une-up, tc. Very deep throated exhaust sound. It drives out very well with all the power you could ask for. Brakes are all newincluding steel lines and hoses. Factory drums on the back and Plymouth discs on the front.
Wheels and tires: The wheels are newer reproduction Halibrands. The tires are newer B. F. Goodrich Silvertown P237/75/15" Wide White Wall Radial reproductions.
Interior: The interior was completely restored to better than new condition as you can see in thepictures. All gauges work including the speedometer, lthough the speedometerreads a bit faster than it is actually going. Nicestereo system with an in the glove box unit and behind the seat speakers.
This is a great cruising truck that can be driven long distances with no issues. Fly in and drive this one home.
