Description of 1955 Ford Thunderbird |
Fuzzy Dice Autos Has up for auction a beautifully restored 1955 Thunderbird in Thunderbird Blue with white and blue leather seats. This car came to us from a local collector who bought it from the restorer who owned it for many years. The restoration was complete approximately ten years ago. The Bird is completely solid, o rust or damage anywhere. The paint shows very well, he white convertible to and rear zip down plastic window are in great condition. The interior is excellent. The seats are like new. No cracks in the dash pad and the gauge package is excellent. An aftermarket radio replaced the original radio. It’s equipped with overdrive, elescopic steering wheel and a four way power seat. Does have power steering nor power brakes. It’s a three speed manual transmission. Still has the original six volt system. Cannot verify the mileage on the odometer. The underside is very nice. No rust or damage anywhere. Photos of the under carriage can be sent to those serious buyers. This beautiful classic Bird starts up, rives strong, mokeless and quiet. She drives down the road straight and stops on a dime. This is a turnkey car that one would be proud to show but could also be driven anywhere and often. A way above average “driver quality” American classic. We encourage you to contact us with any inquiries. Unlike most classic car dealers who photograph their cars in professionally lighted studios or on Hollywood driveways, e at Fuzzy Dice shoot our pictures on our lot using nothing more than a point and shoot camera. So what you see is what your get. And in this case it’s even nicer in person. So if you are looking for an early classic bird at what we consider to be at a reasonable price, han your search is over. Thanks for taking the time to read this and we wish you the best of luck bidding. |
