Description of 1968 Ford F-250 Ranger/ Camper Special |
Own a piece of American History. The truck is ready to be a daily driver with a little TLC on the exterior and interior cosmetically if you care about that. Solid Body, nd no rust that we can see. The truck was believed to be kept in Arizona, reat place for truck storage. The motor CID 390 Ford Big Block with Edelbrock carburetor is in very solid condition. Starts up every time on the first time even when cold sitting over night, reat sound to the motor and drives very smoothly. Includes Power Steering, ower Brakes. I recently Replaced within the past month Passenger side Exhaust Manifold and new Manifold gaskets on both sides. I fixed the wiring and all the gauges work properly now. Brakes have been adjusted and is stopping very nicely for Drum brakes. New Battery, nd New Fan Shroud from Original 1968 Ford F250. It does have three gas tanks, wo are definitely working, nsure of the third tank. Vehicle has dealer installed A/C with New Compressor, ut A/C in-opt because the Heater Core needs replacing along with Evaporator Core($100.00 dollar fix). Update: Re-attached an original 1968 Ford F250 Rear-View Mirror, nd replaced inner door mechanism on the driver side door so now you can easily open the door to exit the truck. All doors work great both open and close. Disclosure:There are two cracks in the windshield. Look to photos for details.Missing Aluminum trim from the passenger side door to tail gate. I thought I had bought the correct replacement however it was the wrong size. |
