More Info coming soon...
The car is overall very solid but is not perfect and will need minor rust repairs. I have all seats front and rear but they are standard interior and not pony. But I have them all. The frame rails and fender aprons are extremely solid. The floor pans are very solid and well as the trunk area. The fenders are both very solid. The passenger side door needs a little rust repair. The driver side door is pretty solid. The trunk lid is solid and the hood is also solid. The car has had a radiator support installed. It has also had toe boards installed. Frame rails are solid front and rear. I have tried to take as many pictures as possible. Now let me tell you what I know about the car. I purchased the car off a guy whos had it for the past 20 or so years. He purchased it from a guy that before that bought it new. From what I was told, he original owner took all of the K code drivetrain parts (engine, rans, " Rearend etc) out of this car and put them into a 1966 fastback T code car that he turned into a race/drag/track car. So that is what happened from what I was told to the original drivetrain. This car has power steering and now has drum brakes as the owner robbed the front disc brakes also. This car was put back on the road with a less powerful 289 engine and the original auto trans in the 1970's. Since then the engine and original trans were removed and I honestly dont know what happened to them. I have tried to located the original trans and engine with no luck. The car has the reinforced exhaust plates for dual exhaust in the floor and it does have the correct floor snubber above the axle. This car is the way I bought it. I looked at the apron VIN very closely and it is definitely an Original Ford stampbecausethe Apron date goes right through the VIN on the drivers rear apron. Front Drivers apron is hard to read but you can see some of it. The rear apron stamp is 100% legible. The door tag is 100% original. Not a reproduction. The car is missing many original K code specific parts but its still a verydesirablecar. Very few made.
