Description of 1932 Ford Other |
There are a lot of '32 Fords out there, ut full-fendered cars that are as much about luxury as they are about performance are rather rare. Finished in glittering PPG paint and featuring a tan leather interior, his gorgeous roadster looks vintage but drives like a modern car. In the sunlight, he PPG Cinnamon Metallic paint is spectacular and highlights the many curves and intricate details of the '32 Ford body. Underneath, t's a Kilborne fiberglass reproduction that accurately duplicates the original Ford shape, lbeit with shaved door handles and hinges. The 3-piece hood is steel and tilts open for access and can be completely removed to change the car's look. Finish quality is impressive, ith super smooth bodywork, reat gaps, nd paint that looks a mile deep. The '32 look is complemented by the chrome windshield with wind wings, nd for a traditional hot rod vibe, here are King Bee headlights on a dropped bar, long with chrome spreader bars front and rear. LED taillights that replicate traditional 1939 Ford units and in case of inclement weather, here's a Sid Chavers Bop Top wrapped in tan canvas. Deviating from the '32 Ford norm, he twin leather-covered buckets with ostrich-skin inserts and matching door panels. Custom carpets give it a luxurious feel and help control noise and heat in the open two-seater. A fat banjo-style wheel with a woodgrained rim sits atop a polished tilt column. Perhaps more unique is the fact that this roadster sports a column shifter to maximize interior space, s well as A/C with nicely integrated vents in the dash. The center-mounted gauge cluster features bright Dakota Digital instruments and there's a hidden AM/FM/Satellite/iPod stereo with speakers in the kick panels. The trunk is especially interesting with furniture-grade wooden enclosures for the battery and twin subwoofers, long with the amplifier up top, et there's still plenty of space for luggage and gear for your next road trip. Reliable small block Chevy power makes this a rod you can drive anywhere, ny time, nd it's detailed enough to make you want to open the hood every time you stop. There's billet aluminum on the air cleaner and valve covers so it looks good, nd an Edelbrock 4-barrel and Street Warrior intake provide horsepower. Chrome accessories include an A/C compressor with R134a refrigerant inside and with a big radiator and powerful electric fan, his rod keeps its cool under all conditions. A Pete & Jake's front end sticks to tradition with chrome trailing arms and coil-overs, hile the 9-inch Ford rear end has been painted to match the bodywork and hangs on its own set of shiny shocks. In fact, he entire chassis has been color matched to the body, he frame is fully boxed, nd all the welds are smooth, he mark of expert craftsmen at work. The custom stainless exhaust system sounds fantastic with Magnaflow mufflers and turn-downs just ahead of the rear axle, nd it has just the right rake with staggered Torque Thrust wheels and 195/70/14 front and 255/70/15 rear BFGoodrich T/A radials. This beautifully built '32 stands out from the crowd by going the opposite direction from all the other roadsters. Still packing plenty of performance, ts focus on comfort and drivability make it a winner in anyone's book. Call today! |
