Description of 1957 Ford Thunderbird Snowbird

1957 Ford ThunderbirdThis neat old bird has been in our family since the 1980's. I believe we are the 3rd owners. This black plate California jewel has been a local car it's whole life. Our family purchased this car from the second owners in Simi Valley. Ca. They had also owned the car for decades. The color combination is somewhat rare. white on white. They were called Snowbirds. It has the 312 Cubic inch V8. automatic transmission. power steering. power brakes. power seats. power windows. factory porthole top. fender skirts. etc. (No soft top). It runs and drives very well but could use a set of new tires. The current tires are the wide whites and have lots of tread but are old. Much of the restoration work was done by Prestige Thunderbird who is a well known specialist in T-bird restoration. I would rate the car as very nice and driver's quality. Not too nice to drive but nice enough to take to the car shows. The paint. interior. chrome is all in good shape and there are very few miles on the car since a body on the frame restoration was completed. Recent maintenance work was completed. Our dad was the owner and loved the car. but he has passed away so we reluctantly are selling the car. Please only inquire if you are serious about purchasing it.
