VIN: A2506278. its the same as the one on the title. this means its a matching numbers engine. the one the car was born with. MILES: 1324 reading today. this is probally the miles since restoration. but I'm sure its not the original miles. it has to be more. TITLE: Clear title in hand with a VIN that matches the engine numbers. HISTORY: My friend found me the car just north of Cincinnati. IS THIS A REAL ROADSTER? Yes. everything looks right to me. I am sure not an expert. but things look right. The top has not been cut off. it looks completly factory. Its no kit car! HAS THE CAR EVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT? I see no signs of a bent frame and no kinked sheet metal. it may of hard a ding in years past. but it looks like it has not had a bad accident. IS THERE ANY RUST? I see no rusty holes. no rust bubbles in the paint. I see some rust color under the car. but no rusty holes and the frame looks good. HOW IS THE PAINT? This is a real good looking car. the paint looks good. but has been on for a while. The shine is good. I see no dents and no dings. I see several touched up chips and a few minor defects. With the rumble seat closed it looks like it has been repainted. a little different shade. I would consider the paint nice. just not new and perfect. it looks good until you inspect with a critical eye. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? It is tan color and has no holes or bad wear. the bottom of the front seat has some wrinkles and needs pulled tighter. If I get time to do it I will try to pull it tighter. but a upholster person can do it better. HOW IS THE CHROME? The bumpers are super nice with no rust and no pitting that I see. The radiator shell looks new and other chrome very good used condition. HOW IS THE TOP? It is in very usable condition. no holes and the back window is clear. It has some dis-coloring from age. HOW IS THE GLASS? The winshield has no cracks. no milky bubbles. The wind-wings are clear and the back plastic window in the top clear. DO THE LIGHTS WORK? The bright headlights work. one on dim is not working. I'll check it out. The tail lights work. the brake light works. The car has had turn signals added that work. the inside instrument light works. DO THE GAUGES WORK? Speedometer is working. gas gauge works. amp gauge is working. AHOOGA Horn is working. it is on a button on the side of the steering column. HOW IS THE ENGINE: I think its the original. the VIN numbers on it matches the title. I think it runs good. its a 4 cyclinder flathead. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? It seems fine to me. its a 3 speed manual. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? They are mechanical. no hydralics. so you have to give it some foot. its just the way they were made. The parking brake works. This is a good looking car. its not perfect. but its priced that way. What I'm telling you is if you want a perfect new car. get ready to pay lots more. If you want a nice driver for fun this may be it. Anytime you can buy a real steel Model A Roadster for $18. 00 its a real good deal. $18. 00 is my price. if I don't sell it this winter I'll price it for more at the big spring car shows.
