1988 Oxford White Saleen convertible 68000+ miles on block (302) all else less then 500 miles. Car is real sharp. Installed new top, custom welded subframe connectors, AFR heads with upgraded roller rockers/valves/rods, Holly Sytemax upper/lower intake, custom cam, new gold series balancer, roll master timing chain, BBK header, new magnaflow stainless exhaust with high flow catted H pipe, Complete MSD A9L ignition, 130 amp alt, high output starter and fuel pump, 80mm BBK throttle body,Vortech supercharger 9lb boost, brand new tremec 500 trans with new center force clutch and adjustment cable (not even fully broken in), pyle 7 inch screen radio with amps, crossover and new kicker speacker all round with 10 inch sub. Car has the original 302 block with 68000 on it..I have a pro M 80 mm MAF with 30lb injectors programmed (ready to remove the 55mm MAF and 19lb injectors which restrict HP) - I will give that with sale. Still has the A/C that works great but needs freon charge (was never done when motor was put back) - heater core was replaced, radiator replaced with high flow 3 core..Car was not yet dyno tuned but runs very strong without....I also have brand new in boxes = Wilwood cross drilled rotors that I bought for the car and never installed - with calapers and pads worth 2000.00 - will sell for additional1000.00 on top of asking price. I have all paperwork for parts and has a folder full of original stickers and bill of sale etc... Original interior 9 out of 10 (Carpet isn't original - radio and speakers are not) but I have original radio. Original paint 9 out of 10 with no dents (slight crack in rear ground effect by exhaust- easy fix cant even notice) - and I believe the front bumper was repainted from previous owner - all else original. All Saleen stickers in place. No rust at all -- Chassis is like new, doors close like new. rims and tires 9 out of 10.. Engine 9 out of 10 (will need slight valve adjustment and I noticed a tiny oil leak) - couple of bucks the motor will be a perfect 10!! I only put around 400 miles on it since all the new mods droped oil twice for cleansing.. The builder asked me to get it back to him so he can handle the valve adjustment and the tiny oil leak - I really do not have the time and if I do I will ask 18k - it is and easy fix... Most parts were ordered, ported and put together by Ed Curtis (He is all over the mustang forums and thats how I found him) and the build was performed by a mustang race car builder located in the Bronx. Buy it now and you will save on buying one cheaper and spending an additional 10K+ like I did. Only reason I am selling is because it just sits in my garage and I hardly use it - all previous owners kept it in a garage as well (2 owners I believe......I am 3rd) but not 100 percent sure.....I am a honest person with my description - no hidden bull$@#% and besides the car speaks for itself. |
