Description of 1931 Ford Model A

RARE 31 ROASTER PICK-UP WITH WIDE-BEDOnly 2600 were made in 1931( and how many of these are left?) She is just as we found it, bumps, bruises, rust, dents, and worts, 85 years worth of untouched patina. But the whole drive train has been completely gone through!! First the motor is a standard bore that has been completely gone through with new crank, cam, lifters, reconditioned rods. The engine runs wonderful, no smoke or knocks!! New carburetor and linkage, coil, and plugs, points, condenser, and cap. Starter and Generator have all been rebuilt. New 6 volt battery. New wiring harness, headlights and tail lights have been refurbished and work like they should. Transmission and rear end have been rebuilt with new bearings. Also the brakes are all new including brake rods, shoes, and bearings. The king pins are in great shape and has NO bump steering!! The front tires and tubes are new. We left the rear tires alone, because we liked the look of the old knob tires. It has a new seat, springs and foam and is covered with a nice Indian blanket. Nice gas tank with no leaks. New $500 copper radiator. All gauges work and has a NOS ignition switch. New front windshield with Safety glass and a new muffler was added. Custom leather Salt Lake hood straps that give it a real speedster look that you don't see too often. She has a nice ah-ooga horn that also works.
This roadster pick-up by itself is rare but this one has the wide-bed and fenders which is exceptionally rare!
This old gal runs and drives great and starts first time, every time! Since she is an open truck, she is a big hit at the shows.
I have a good clear title in hand. We cruised all day at the Scottsdale Goodguys Show and not once did it overheat. If you can drive it like this in Phoenix, you will have no heating problems where you live. You can't beat an open vehicle to cruise in!
