Description of 1941 Ford Other Pickups

Up for auction is a nice 1941 Ford 1/2 ton pickup. The truck has a clear Wisconsin title. This truck has had a frame off restoration which is nearly completed. It does run and drive right now and has been road tested. Drivetrain is a 1951 Mercury Flathead V-8 that has been rebuilt and broke in. It has a pair of Super 7 carburetors on it. Transmission is a T5 out of an S10 pickup with a Cornhusker adapter with a hydraulic slave clutch. The truck also has a brand new Dillon aluminum radiator in it. The frame and engine have both been painted and should not have to be removed again. The suspension has been upgraded- front is a JW Rod Garage independent hub to hub with tubular A-arms and 11" disc brakes and rear suspension is a Chassis Engineering leaf spring kit. The rear differential is a Ford 8" out of a Granada that was completely rebuilt- bearings. seals and brakes. Truck has a manual steering rack with a brand new Flaming River tilt steering column and a new Grant steering wheel. It also has brand Wheel Vintique steel wheels(6" front. 8" rear) in primer with chrome smoothie caps. The truck runs and drives right now just as is. Main body was rust free and is in the first coat of primer. It has new steel running boards and a brand new steel box with a wood kit. The fenders are all fiberglass. There is no glass in the truck but all the garnish moldings and window cranks are all with it. Door latches are in it to get the doors to fit. The interior comes with a professionally recovered seat with new foam(no springs). It also comes with a new(still in the box) Cartouche headliner interior kit. This truck is really close to complete- the body has been completely fitted and is very close for paint- you just need to pick a color. add glass and gauges.
