1953 Ford F100 Pickup Description 1953 Ford F100 Stepside Pickup 380hp 440cid Chrysler V8 engine with Chrysler sub frame. Custom grey cloth interior Stunning Two-Tone Blue Metallic interior 727 torque flight automatic transmission Power steering, brakes and windows Solid Arizona TruckMotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this handsome and rarely seen 1953 Ford F100 custom stepside pickup complete with front disc brakes, and a 380HP Chrysler 440 Big Block! Retaining most of its steel body, this very rare truck was restored and hand-built to its current glory from the ground up. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a Ford, MoPar or Chevy guy this classic F100 crosses over barriers and claims universal custom truck appeal. For the 1953 model year, an all-new version of the F-Series made its debut. Increased dimensions, improved engines, and an updated chassis were features of the second generation. Additionally, a change to the F-Series naming scheme would remain in place to the present day. The half-ton F-1 became the F-100, the F-2 and F-3 were combined into the F-250 while the F-4 became the F-350. Finished in a deep two-tone blue metallic, this truck shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. All the trim is present, complete and displays normal wear. The front and rear bumpers have been tastefully deleted. The weather-stripping is pliable, with little or no signs of drying, tearing or shrinkage. Aggressive stance, shaved doors and custom tail lights are an excellent addition The truck has a slight window tinting that compliments and completes the “custom” appearance. The custom 15-inch wheels represent well with only slight signs of marring and curb rash. Inside, the grey cloth front bucket seats and rear seats appear normal with only slight wear spots on the drivers seat’s outside bolster visible. The matching blue door panels, carpet and dashboard are a continuation of the striking blue exterior of the car and look fantastic. All gauges are ergonomically placed, have correct appearance and function as originally designed. The windshield wipers and horn are inoperable. The custom equipped Grant GT steering wheel is in excellent condition and functions as designed. The heater and power windows function as designed. This no corners cut built ’53 pickup is nicely equipped with a 380hp 440cid Chrysler V8 engine mated with a 727 torque flight automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, automatic cooling fan, boxed frame, dual Flowmaster mufflers and enveloped rear fuel cell.15-inch custom built American Racing staggered polished 5-spoke alloys on BF Goodrich tires! It’s impossible to mention the all-time classic pickup models and not include early fifty Fords. The builder of this particular “labor of love” thought the whole design through, from the two tone blue metallic exterior to the hidden interior lighting, all come together to make this one of the most beautiful custom F100 pickups we’ve ever seen!… GET OUT AND DRIVE! Current mileage on the odometer 43,855 miles, sold as is and is mileage exempt. The car is being sold on a clean & clear title.
